Ken Dufour Awarded “The Wright Brothers – Master Pilot Award”

ROCKFORD, IL – The Federal Aviation Administration has awarded Ken Dufour, President/CEO of Aviation Management Consulting, Inc., and long serving Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Trustee, the most prestigious award for pilots, “The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award”. This award recognizes 50 years of Exemplary Aviation Flight Experience, Distinguished Professionalism, and Steadfast Commitment to Aviation Safety.
Over 30 years ago, Mr. Dufour established Aviation Management Consulting, Inc., to provide consulting services to the aerospace community. Mr. Dufour has extensive experience in aircraft appraisal and valuation, as well as flight safety. His focus is in all segments of aviation which includes general aviation, business aviation, and air transport segments.
He obtained his bachelor’s and his master’s degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he is currently serving his 23rd year as Trustee for the University.
Mr. Dufour holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate and has been a FAA Certified Flight and Ground School instructor for over 48 years.
